Sumo Enlightening

Malcolm Au Man Chung sent us his very nice album of a grand sumo tournament in Tokyo. The photos are absolutely facinating. Please click here to enjoy. Sumo is very much the national sport of Japan. When Jackie, Robin and I were visiting Tokyo in 2004, we went to a sumo training stable and found it really interesting especially learning about the life of the budding wrestlers being fed-to-size and trained there. We also visited the sumo museum and the Sumo Hall and were just intrigued by the sport. Incidentally, I also watched in Tianjin through the NKK channel the very tournament Malcolm captured here in his camera.
