Tsukiji Fish Market

Malcolm Au continues his Tokyo exploration with an early morning visit to the Tsukiji Fish Market which has only just been reopened to visitors during the dawn trading sessions. Please click here to see again the very nice album he is sharing with us before he will show it to the Toronto schoolmates when he is over there during the Chinese New Year.
We also went to the Tsukiji Fish Market during our 2004 visit to Tokyo. We had to get up at 4:30am to catch the first metro to go there in time for the trading. The visit was a highlight of our trip not only because of the interesting tuna bidding but also because of the freshness of the breakfast sushi we had there.
