45th Anniversary Reunion
Dear all:
The BHJS 45th year of graduation reunion trip has been in planning for several months. Using a small group of about 12 classmates, we have reviewed several options and using a travel company in Toronto, Canada, Tour East Travel, we are now happy to announce that the trip is finalized as follows:
The trip consists of two parts - a tour of Spain and Portugal from Sept 13 to 22 and a Mediterranean cruise from Sept 22 -29.
If you are going to both land tour and the cruise, you need to book a flight to Madrid to arrive on Sept 14 and the cruise will end in Barcelona on Sept 29.
If you are going to land tour only, you need to fly to Madrid to arrive on Sept 14 and the tour ends on Sept 21 in Madrid.
If you are going to the cruise only, you can fly to and arrive Barcelona on Sept 21 to meet the land tour group and the ship set sail on Sept 22. You can book the return flight from Barcelona for Sept 29 any time after noon.

The cost of the trip is as follows: (in Candadian dollars) Land tour: $2,638 per person double occupancy (15 people minimum). Cruise: Ocean view $1,180, Balcony room $1,498. Each cabin will have $75 ship board credit. Dinner seating is the early one at 6 pm. There will be $33 each to arrange transportation from cruise to airport on Sept 29 in Barcelona. The land tour includes hotel, transportation, tours as listed, most meals, and a tour escort from Sept 14 to 21. The cruise price is all inclusive of tax (brochure price does not include tax in case you are comparing). Not included are gratuities to tour guide and driver (9 Euro per day) and cruise personnel. Deposit required: land tour $500 due on Apr 9, cruise $265 per person due Apr 15. Flights need to be booked separately, Toronto departure add $1,000 to land tour price. Our tour agent Edwin Ching can assist. Please note that it is very difficult to predetermine the number of people that may be going, the price of the land tour may go up or down slightly depending on the final number of participants.
We welcome friends and family to join this trip and is not limited to only BHJS. We hope our land tour can be a private tour of at least 15 people. The cruise will not be private as the ship holds several thousand people.
